The Little Flower Neighborhood is located on Indianapolis' Eastside bounded by 16th Street, Emerson Avenue, 10th Street and Sherman Drive. The neighborhood was developed in the 1920s; the majority of homes were constructed in the 1930s and 1940s. Homes were built around St. Therese, the Little Flower Catholic Church and School founded in 1925, which continues to be the anchor of the neighborhood. The neighborhood has an active association called the Little Flower Neighborhood Association (LFNA). LFNA exists to maintain and enhance the quality of the Little Flower Neighborhood community. LFNA meets and publishes a newsletter six times annually. The Association meetings provide an open public forum for residents to speak about issues pertinent to our neighborhood. | |
